Strawberry Ice Cream!

Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Prepare the Strawberries:
In a medium bowl, combine sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well and let sit for 15 minutes to macerate. Use a blender or food processor to puree the mixture until smooth. For a chunkier texture, pulse briefly to leave small strawberry pieces.

Make the Ice Cream Base:
In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir in the strawberry puree until fully combined.

Churn the Ice Cream:
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, typically about 20–25 minutes.

Freeze:
Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container. Freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up before serving.
