Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

Ingredients

For the Crust:

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

¼ cup granulated sugar

For the Cheesecake Layer:

16 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Apple Topping:

2 large apples, peeled and diced

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp nutmeg

For the Streusel Topping:

½ cup all-purpose flour

½ cup packed brown sugar

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Caramel Drizzle:

½ cup store-bought or homemade caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.

Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake for 8 minutes, then set aside to cool.

2. Make the Cheesecake Layer:

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in the vanilla extract.

Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the cooled crust.

3. Prepare the Apple Topping:

Combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.

Spoon the apple mixture evenly over the cheesecake layer.

4. Add the Streusel Topping:

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, and butter until crumbly.

Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the apple layer.

5. Bake and Cool:

Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the cheesecake layer is set.

Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

6. Add the Caramel Drizzle:

Once chilled, drizzle caramel sauce over the top before slicing and serving.
