The consequences of not paying Zakat!

The consequences of not paying Zakat!

All the decrees of Allah are for the universal welfare of man. Every command and prohibition of Allah Ta'ala has two types of results or consequences.

An afterlife will be found and that is the key. The consequences of disobeying His orders are still felt today, though many times people do not realize it.

Consequences of not paying Zakat:

First of all: Since the wealth of the rich has the right of the poor and destitute, if Zakat is not paidProperty remains the property of others.

As a result it is not holy. Allah does not bless impure wealth and the possessor of that wealth is deprived of Allah's mercy.

Not only that, the people who do not pay Zakat or Sadaqah, Allah sends worldly punishments like drought and famine on them.

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "If a community refuses to give Zakat, Allah punishes them with famine" (Tabarani).

Secondly:Rasulullah (SAW) said, "Whoever gives zakat in the hope of reward, there is a reward for him.

" And whoever does not pay zakat, we will collect zakat from his wealth; In addition, we will take a portion of his wealth in light of our Lord's strict instructions.

But no part of it is lawful for the family of Muhammad' (Ahmad, Nasa'i, Abu Dawud).
It can be understood from this hadith that if someone refuses to pay zakat, then the state authority collects zakat from himIn addition, fines will be collected for showing the audacity to disobey Allah's law.

Thirdly: Those who accumulate wealth without paying zakat, on the Day of Resurrection, that wealth will be heated in the fire of hell, then the body of its owner will be burnt with it.

Allah Ta'ala says, 'And those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah, give them the glad tidings of a severe chastisement.

That day is hellIt will be heated by the fire and their foreheads, sides and backs will be burnt with it (it will be said on that day), which you kept for yourselves, so taste it at once and keep it.” (Surah At Tawbah 9:34-35).

Rasul s. Said, "On the Day of Judgment, such punishment will continue until the judgment of Paradise or Hell" (Sunan Abu Dawud).

Fourthly: Those who are a large number of quadrupedsThe owner, but did not pay zakat, those animals will be placed on the shoulder of their owner on the Day of Resurrection.

They will run to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and beg. But he will not intercede for them.

Rasul s. He said, if the owners of four-legged animals do not pay Zakat, then on the Day of Resurrection, that person will be put to bed.

Then his animals will be presented fatter than before. the animalsThey will gouge their owners with their horns and trample them with their hooves.

No beast shall have crooked horns, nor shall any beast be hornless. After trampling down the last beast the first will be brought back.

In this way the punishment will continue until the verdict of Jannat or Hell. The length of that day will be equal to 50 thousand years.

A quadruped animal whether sheep or camel - if Zakat is not paid, the owner of the animal will be punished like this (Sunan AbuDaoud).

Fifth: Those who own huge wealth, but do not pay Zakat, on the Day of Resurrection, that wealth will take the shape of a snake and bite its owner.

Rasulullah (s.a.w.) said, 'Whoever Allah has given wealth to but has not paid zakat, his wealth will be hanged around his neck on the Day of Judgment.

The snake will bite both sides of its mouth and say, 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure' (Sahih AlBukhari).

May Allah forgive us! Save us from such a terrible punishment! What can be more foolish than to expose yourself to such painful punishment without paying Zakat!

It must always be realized that he who has the power to give, has the power to take back. So no one should neglect to pay Zakat. Rather, it is our absolute duty to pay Zakat as soon as it becomes obligatory upon us.

The Man Who Invented The "Psychopath"?

The Man Who Invented the “Psychopath”? Hervey Cleckley, an influential psychiatrist, is often credited with shaping modern understandings of psychopathy, even though his original intent was to help rather than stigmatize those affected. His 1941 work, The Mask of Sanity, was pivotal, as it introduced the concept of the psychopath as a specific personality type with 16 distinct traits. Cleckley described individuals who seemed outwardly rational but exhibited shallow emotions, lacked empathy, and engaged in destructive behaviors, though often without malice. Cleckley’s perspective was initially sympathetic; he saw these individuals as “forgotten” by psychiatry—people who needed understanding and treatment. However, as psychopathy entered the public lexicon, the term was quickly associated with malice, violence, and even inhumanity. Cleckley’s nuanced portrait of the psychopath was adapted by later researchers like Robert Hare, who created the widely used Psychopathy Checklist, a t...
