They based their rankings on the number of solo travel searches, solo dining experiences, safety indices, affordability, hotel satisfaction scores, and cultural richness.


 Additionally, they conducted an online survey to gauge how welcoming these cities are to solo travelers.Berlin topped the global list as the best city for solo travel.


 The German capital offers a mix of historical sites, like the remnants of the Berlin Wall, and vibrant nightlife, making it an exciting and budget-friendly option with average meal costs at $31 and hotel prices at $168 per night.


Vancouver, Canada, came in second, known for its blend of urban sophistication and natural beauty, making it a safe and scenic choice for solo travelers. Montreal followed in third place, offering a rich cultural experience with its festivals, food, and European charm.Other cities in the top rankings include Paris, Milan, Dublin, Toronto, Dubai, Mexico City, and London.


For those preferring to travel within the U.S., Washington, D.C., was ranked as the top city for solo travel, praised for its rich history, art, and numerous free attractions. Boston came in second, offering a compact, walkable city filled with history and character.


 Chicago took third place, known for its architectural beauty, cultural scene, and affordability.Other notable U.S. cities for solo travelers include Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Tampa, Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York City.
