The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) strongly condemned nationalism, or "Asabiyyah" (tribalism), as a dangerous deviation from the true path of Islam. He declared that those who fight, die, and advocate for nationalism have no place within the Islamic community.

Asabiyyah, rooted in pre-Islamic ignorance (Jahiliyyah), fosters divisions and undermines the core Islamic principle of global brotherhood. Islam emphasizes that all humans are equal, regardless of race, ethnicity, or nationality. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explicitly stated, "All men are the children of Adam, and Adam is created from clay. There is no superiority of non-Arab over Arab and Arab over non-Arab, black over white and white over black. Excellence is only based on piety.”

This powerful message highlights the profound importance of justice, unity, and seeking the pleasure of Allah above all worldly affiliations. Islam calls for a global community united by faith and guided by the principles of equality and compassion.
