The Tea, The Mentor, and The Blessings We Already Have

A story that quietly reshaped my understanding of wealth.

One day I went to one of my dear Ustaaz (mentors) with the complaint that I am not getting blessings in my income. If I am confused or confused about something, talking to him gives me a kind of peace of mind.

So once I met the mentor with such a doubt.

Handing me a tea pack dipped in hot water without milk and sugar, he said - Tanveer, how are you?

I told him with some hesitation,Confused Ustad!

He looked deeply into my face for a few minutes. Then he said with a sip of tea - are you in trouble?

I came a little further in front of him and said in a low voice - Master, I am in doubt about my income. I earn in honest way. If I can do professional work, I will work with 200 percent dedication.

Still I know why even after working for so many years I feel that I am not getting any blessing in my earnings.

I speak with a sincere heartHe listened, then asked

-Why do you think so?

I said this time, that my savings are not happening. Every year as the income is increasing, so are the expenses.

What did Ustaaz think again as he took my right hand in his hand. Then again looked deeply at my forehead and eyes. He asked

-What are your expenses increasing?

- Such as children's education - their school fees, their teachers' fees, expenses of some poor relatives.

- NoneAre your children in school?

- I said the name of the school.

-Tanveer, do you think, only increasing the deposit in the bank means the blessing of income?

I am amata amata.

- Isn't it a blessing that you can send your children to the best school? How many parents can send their children to such good schools?

Yes, that's right. I shook my head.

- How are your children? Are they naughty? Do not listen to your message?

- No, no Ustaaz. veryThey are lucky kids.

- Isn't it a blessing, Tanveer?

- Yes, of course.

- Has anyone in your family been seriously ill in the past 5/7 years? Or yourself?

- No, Master, by the grace of God, no one gets seriously ill like that. My wife was ill, by the grace of Allah she recovered quickly.

- Had to be admitted to the hospital?

- No Ustaaz, he has recovered by the grace of God.

- That you are healthy, isn't it a blessing, Tanveer? He asked putting his hand on my headHe did.

- Yes of course.

-Tanveer, what kind of person is your wife? Does he treat you well? Do you care? He is not a good character?

-No, Ustaaz. He is a man of great character. He's not just me. I care for my children, my father, relatives too.

- What blessing do you want? What can be a greater blessing than peace in the family?

Yes sir, I don't really think that deeply.

-Your parentsare you

- No mother, father is there?

- Does father live with you, or live apart?

-Stay with me, Ustaaz. with me

-Your father lives with you, in this age parents stay together, how big a blessing Tanveer, don't you realize?

-Ter Pai Ustaz. terpai Abba is with you, this one

Very big baraka, Ustaaz.

He doesn't speak anymore. He held me to his chest. He patted his head. Then he said, money in life is only increase in wealthno blessing

You are healthy in life, you have a beautiful family, you are able to take care of them and they take care of you - this is also a blessing.

You get the light of right knowledge in life - this is also a blessing. You can get news of relatives - this is also a blessing. Seeing father's face every day is also a blessing.

- What more blessing will you get by depositing money in the bank, Tanveer?

-Ustaz, you are right.

He led me downstairs. I am from himI left after saying goodbye. I open the panoramic sunroof with the car key. Then look at the sky in deep gratitude. That day was Jotsna.

The sky is floating in silver light. I stood with both hands up through the open sunroof. Then I close my eyes. I feel that all the blessings of the world are wrapped around me!

The real takeaway?

The consequences of not paying Zakat!

The consequences of not paying Zakat! All the decrees of Allah are for the universal welfare of man. Every command and prohibition of Allah Ta'ala has two types of results or consequences. An afterlife will be found and that is the key. The consequences of disobeying His orders are still felt today, though many times people do not realize it. Consequences of not paying Zakat: First of all: Since the wealth of the rich has the right of the poor and destitute, if Zakat is not paidProperty remains the property of others. As a result it is not holy. Allah does not bless impure wealth and the possessor of that wealth is deprived of Allah's mercy. Not only that, the people who do not pay Zakat or Sadaqah, Allah sends worldly punishments like drought and famine on them. The Prophet (PBUH) said, "If a community refuses to give Zakat, Allah punishes them with famine" (Tabarani). Secondly:Rasulullah (SAW) said, "Whoever gives zakat in the hope of reward, there...
