It’s a more common experience than you might think, and it’s your body trying to tell you something. I was curious about the science behind this, and it turns out there are some fascinating reasons, from blood sugar swings to something called "postprandial hypotension."
I just shared a simple breakdown of the top 5 reasons this happens and some easy, practical tips to feel better. It’s not about promotion, it’s about understanding our bodies.
1. Postprandial Hypotension
Decreased blood pressure after meals
After eating, the body sends more blood to the stomach for digestion. By doing this in the brainBlood supply may decrease slightly, especially if one has low blood pressure. It can cause dizziness or lightheadedness.
2. Sudden changes in blood glucose
Food patterns, especially foods high in carbohydrates, can cause sudden spikes in blood glucose. This can lead to a sudden spike in insulin followed by a drop in blood sugar, known as Reactive Hypoglycemia. This condition may cause dizziness, weakness, or tremors.
3.Excess sugar or fat in food
If the sugar or fat is high, the body uses more energy to digest it, resulting in a kind of "food coma" — lightheadedness or sleepiness.
4. Dehydration or electrolyte imbalance
If less water is consumed with meals or the body is already dehydrated, dizziness may occur after eating.
5. Allergies or food sensitivities
Allergies to certain foods orIntolerance may cause dizziness, nausea or weakness after eating eg: gluten, albumin etc.
➡️This is a common problem but it is important to see a doctor if the following symptoms are regular.
▪️Dizziness is regular.
▪️Other symptoms are vomiting, chest palpitations, blurred vision.
▪️There is danger of falling due to dizziness.
Note:

2. LowIf you are under pressure, you must comply with the time.
3. Drink 1 glass of water before eating.
