Now we will discuss about the beautiful bird mentioned in the Quran. The bird reports back to Suleiman after seeing the kingdom of Queen Shiva (Queen of Sheba). This is his analysis:
إِنِّي وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ عَنِ السَّبيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ
I saw him and his people worshiping the sun instead of Allah. Shaytaan has made their deeds pleasing to them and turned them away from the right path; So they are not finding the right path. [Surah Namal: 24]
They are worshiping the sun instead of Allah. Satan has successfully made their actions look good to them. That is, this abominable act of worship has been turned into an organized act and they think it is A spiritual work and great event.
In this way Satan prevented them from the right path. That is why they will not commit to the right path. They are so invested and immersed in their ways of Shirk and Kufr. Because of Satan they have made it attractive to themselves, so they will not commit to guidance.
This verse amazes me, because a bird is giving this profound analysis! The bird just didn't see thatThey worshiped, looked back and reported that,
First, they worship the sun.
Second, they have arranged the ceremony so much that he can tell that the devil has made it very attractive to them and prevented them from finding the right path.
It is a very deep insight from a bird that they will not commit to guidance.
What I'm trying to say is,Allah has given these animals, whose language we do not understand, the ability to communicate. Birds have the ability to speak, the ability to communicate. They can communicate with each other.
This discussion tells us that these animals all have a language, they all have their own way of recording human activities. Like you have pets or you are driving in a bad place, aA bird sitting on a street wire or a street light watching you, looking at you—it is a witness, it has a detailed account of what you have done.
Not only are the angels writing by your side, there are ants, there are flies on the wall, there are birds, there are cats, there are dogs—they are all witnesses. And even if they cannot speak now, it does not mean that they will not speak on the Day of Resurrection. Subhanallah!
Even as we animalsThinking about and how much they are recording for us, just because of this verse changes the perception. What else is needed to be aware of Allah?
How insignificant it was to these people, who were worshiping the sun, that only a bird flew away. You didn't even think about it, it was just a bird that flew away. But it was an oversight from Allah, to report to a prophetSurveillance.
On the Day of Resurrection when everything becomes a witness, subhanallah, not only our hands and feet, but also the animals around us will be witnesses.
May Allah make us aware and aware of Allah's presence and Allah's full vision of all things, which He presents to us through these beautiful examples.
This shattered my perception.
It’s a powerful reminder that every creature has a language, a purpose, and a role in the grand design. That cat watching you from the fence? The bird on the wire? The ant on your windowsill? They are all silent witnesses to our lives.
We often think, "It's just an animal," but what if they are all recording? On a day when every secret will be revealed, they too may speak. SubhanAllah.
This story isn't about fear; it's about awakening.
It’s a call to live with a profound, beautiful awareness—Taqwa—knowing that Allah’s vision is all-encompassing, and He presents it to us in the most unexpected ways, even through the flight of a single bird.
It makes me wonder... what other "rules" of our perception are just waiting to be broken? What if we started to see the world as deeply interconnected and alive with meaning?
