The famous Chinese philosopher 'Confucius' (born in 551 BC and died in 479 BC) spent the first twenty-five years of his life in various royal courts of China, to kings and princes, to leaders of dynasties, asking them to appoint Confucius to any position in their kingdom. His forehead is good, no king owns him,He did not appoint any position in the government.
Finally, disappointed, Confucius returned to his native place and devoted himself to teaching. Three thousand students studied under Confucius, about seventy of whom later emerged as the greatest philosophers and intellectuals in Chinese history. They spread Confucius' six-point philosophy to the world. Later this philosophy of his shook not only the East but almost the whole world including the Westgives.
What was the six-point philosophy of Confucius? There is no space to discuss it in this small scale. However, he has a wonderful philosophy about how the relationship between the country's government and the people should be, which today's world can only consider.
He used to say to the government of the country; 'What is the need for the death penalty in your regime? If you rulers become characterful, then your subordinates also become characterful Go, they will not commit crime. Then there will be no need for the death penalty in your regime.'
According to him; The ruler of the country is the stormy wind and the people of the country are the grass. Wherever the wind blows, the grass will turn. If the rulers are inclined towards high morals, then the people are bound to have high character and respect for the law.
When I read his writing today, I think; No king took Confucius in their government!
the only Apart from God-fearing Muslim rulers, which ruler in the world has ever brought himself down to the ranks of the people? Rather, they themselves, immersed in sin, decadence and debauchery, gave the people the guise of improved morality. They have drowned in suffering and preached to the people of Bairagism!
Two and a half thousand years have passed since Confucius. Time has passed, but when we look at our society, we understand that the social image of Confucius's time still survives. In this society tooToday there is no place for ideal people in country, government and administration. However, they are valued in the state!
Appreciation for creating a real example of the use of infinite power to decide life and death by the powerful group through the use of prison sentences, oppression and hanging!
Even the philosophy of Confucius has not found a place in our tainted consciousness, maddened by the madness of murder. Regret is only that, between us There is no Confucius. There is a sigh of not having that conscience!
Reading this today hit me deeply. How much of our social landscape is still shaped by the “wind” from above? What happens when the wind lacks moral direction?
Some truths are timeless—and painfully relevant. This piece made me reflect hard on power, character, and why conscience matters now more than ever.
