**🌿 What You’ll Need (Serves 4-6):**  

🍗 **1 whole chicken** (cut into pieces)  

🍚 **3 cups basmati rice** (washed & soaked 20 mins)  

🔥 **4 cups liquid** (3 cups hot water + 1 cup milk)  

🧅 **1 large onion** (thinly sliced)  

🧄 **1 tbsp garlic paste**  

🧡 **1 tbsp ginger paste**  

🌶️ **1 tbsp green chili paste** (adjust to taste)  

✨ **Whole spices**: 3” cinnamon, 1 cardamom, 2 bay leaves  

🍂 **Spice blend**: 1 tsp garam masala (cardamom + cinnamon), 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tbsp black pepper, 1 green chili  

🥣 **1/2 cup thick yogurt**  

🧂 **Salt to taste**  

🫒 **3-5 tbsp oil** + **2 tbsp ghee** (for richness!)  

🌰 **Garnish**: 2 tbsp cashews, 3-5 dried plums (bokhara), 1 boiled egg (optional)

1/2 nutmeg, 1 tsp mace (javitri), 1 tsp shahi cumin

1️⃣ **Marinate the Chicken**  

Toss chicken with chili powder, yogurt, salt, and 1 tsp of the *secret spice mix*. Let it rest 30 mins—patience brings flavor!

Heat oil, fry onions until golden. Set aside half for garnish. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chili, and whole spices. Sauté until fragrant.
