Fasting Of Arafa.

⭕ The day of Arafa is basically the day of Hajj in Saudi. There is disagreement among the scholars about the day of Arafah. Someone is asking to fast Arafah (June 15) in conjunction with Saudi -

Since Hajirah in Saudi Arabia is on the day of Arafah (Day of Hajj).

⭕ Others are asking to fast on 9th Zilhajj (June 16) as the moon of Bangladesh - which is one day later than Saudi (the day after Hajj).

.

⛔️ Fasting of Arafah is mentioned in the hadith, but the 9th of Zilhajj is not mentioned. Therefore, some scholars in Saudi Arabia have expressed the opinion that this fast should be kept on the day on which the pilgrims stay at Arafa. Because, no fast other than Arafah is associated with a place.

- According to other scholars, like Ramadan and Eid, the fast of Arafah should be kept depending on the moon of the respective country.

.

However, due to disagreement on the matter, many reliable scholars say - to adopt a moderate approach. To fast for two days. 8 & 9 Zilhajj (15 & 16 June)

🔘 Since 9 days of Zilhajj are full of many virtues, it is better if we keep fast on these two days 8th and 9th Zilhajj. (June 15 and 16)

Inshallah

And if that is not possible, then one should observe a fast on the occasion of Arafah on any of the 15th and 16th of June.

And if someone fasts every day of the 9 days, he can keep it, which is very virtuous.

-

🔳 And those who perform Hajj should not fast on the day of Arafat, rather they should make more dua and dhikr-Azkar on that day in the field of Arafat.

Because, the dua of Arafah Maidan is accepted by Allah the most.

"Therefore, those who will perform Hajj will pray more without fasting, and those who stay at home will try to fast on that day, Insha'Allah"!

The Man Who Invented The "Psychopath"?

The Man Who Invented the “Psychopath”? Hervey Cleckley, an influential psychiatrist, is often credited with shaping modern understandings of psychopathy, even though his original intent was to help rather than stigmatize those affected. His 1941 work, The Mask of Sanity, was pivotal, as it introduced the concept of the psychopath as a specific personality type with 16 distinct traits. Cleckley described individuals who seemed outwardly rational but exhibited shallow emotions, lacked empathy, and engaged in destructive behaviors, though often without malice. Cleckley’s perspective was initially sympathetic; he saw these individuals as “forgotten” by psychiatry—people who needed understanding and treatment. However, as psychopathy entered the public lexicon, the term was quickly associated with malice, violence, and even inhumanity. Cleckley’s nuanced portrait of the psychopath was adapted by later researchers like Robert Hare, who created the widely used Psychopathy Checklist, a t...
