**🕊️ Protection from the Evil Eye (Badnazar): Spiritual Practices Rooted in the Quran & Sunnah**

The evil eye (Badnazar) is more than just superstition—it’s a reality the Prophet ﷺ warned against. Its effects can ripple through health, relationships, and even life itself. But with the right practices, we can seek refuge in Allah’s protection.

### **Why It Matters**

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

*"Most deaths after Qadr (Divine Decree) are due to the evil eye."*

*(Ibn Abi Asim, As-Sunnah: 311)*

Many suffer unknowingly. Here’s how to guard yourself, the *authentic* way:

### **Daily Shields from the Quran & Sunnah**

1️⃣ **Surah Ikhlas, Falaq, Nas & Ayatul Kursi**

   - Recite these daily, especially after Salah and before sleep. A Prophetic armor against harm.

2️⃣ **Regular Dhikr & Salawat**

   - Fill your moments with remembrance. Even silent *SubhanAllah* or *Durud* in idle time becomes a fortress.

3️⃣ **The Prophetic Du’a for Protection**

   - The Messenger ﷺ taught this for Hasan and Husayn (RA), tracing back to Ibrahim (AS):

*"A’udhu bi kalimatillah at-tammati min kulli shaytanin wa hammatin, wa min kulli ‘aynin lammatin."*

     *(Sahih Bukhari: 3371)*

*("I seek refuge in Allah’s perfect words from every devil, poisonous creature, and harmful envy.")*

4️⃣ **Guard Your Blessings**

   - Not every joy needs to be displayed. The Prophet ﷺ cautioned: *"Every blessing is vulnerable to envy."*

   - Imam Ibn Qayyim (RH) advised: *"Whoever fears the evil eye, let them conceal what draws attention."*

5️⃣ **Distance from Harmful People**

   - If someone is known for envy, wisdom lies in gentle distance. As scholars noted: *"When the evil eye is feared, precaution is Sunnah."*

6️⃣ **Morning & Evening Adhkar**

   - The Prophet ﷺ promised safety for those who recite this 3x daily:

*"Bismillah alladhi la yadurru ma’a ismihi shay’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i, wa Huwas-Samee’ul Aleem."*

     *(Sunan Abi Dawud: 5088)*

7️⃣ **Encourage "MashaAllah" & "BarakAllah"**

   - Normalize praising blessings openly. It dispels envy and invites Barakah.

### **Final Reflection**

Badnazar is real—but so is Allah’s protection. Small, consistent acts from the Sunnah can be life-changing.

**Thought to Ponder:** *Which of these practices will you strengthen today?*

No fluff—just what matters."*
